Karen oversees our Basis of Design strategy and execution for AREP's data center platform, PowerHouse.

Karen brings almost two decades of design, sustainability, and project management experience in the mission-critical sector, having successfully managed complex sustainable data center design and engineering projects, including campus developments, hyperscale built-to-suits, and major infrastructure renovations. As a sustainability subject‑matter expert, Karen was honored by the Green Building Initiative (GBI) as its 2024 Member of the Year for her exceptional dedication to improving the built environment. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Green Building Initiative and is a frequent keynote speaker on sustainability, data centers, and the future of high‑performance buildings. Karen’s leadership and industry impact have also been widely recognized - she was named DCD Global Woman of the Year (2025), a GlobeSt. Woman of Influence (2026), and a two‑time Top 100 Women to Watch honoree by Data Center Magazine.
