Mr. Moore runs the building operations for American Real Estate Partners, including engineering, building improvements and physical studies for acquisitions. Mr. Moore brings 20 years of real estate experience.
Prior to joining the American Real Estate Partners team, Mr. Moore was employed with Lerner Corporation for 4 years as Director of Operations. While at Lerner, Mr. Moore was responsible for operations and all aspects of capital and special projects for their entire commercial, retail and hotel portfolio consisting of more than 15 million square feet. During his time with Lerner he also worked with the development team to design and construct 3 new commercial office buildings. Additionally, Mr. Moore was employed by Cambridge Asset Advisors and Quadrangle Development Corporation. While at Cambridge Mr. Moore was instrumental in the successful efforts to acquire 14 commercial office buildings in the District of Columbia and the development of a DEA laboratory, bringing their portfolio to approximately 7 million square feet.
Mr. Moore is a LEED® Accredited Professional and holds his Virginia Mechanical License, Maryland 1st Class Engineers License, District of Columbia 3rd Class Steam Engineer License, National Institute for the Uniform Licensing of Power Engineers (NIULPE) 1st Class Engineers License and his System Maintenance Administration (SMA) designation from Building Owners and Managers Institute (BOMI).
